Rare: Original owner's manuals set for 1996 Porsche 911 (993 chassis) Carrera 2 + Carrera 4 + Turbo: Coupe, Targa and Cabriolet models. This is an authentic, original print, period correct and vintage Porsche literature set

1- Genuine Porsche embossed black (textured leather) manuals Pouch (storage case) --- the leather is in great condition without any major scratches or rips, but being a used item and natural leather it will show some blemish, wear and stress marks - please see photos!

2- Porsche 911 Carrera and 911 Turbo Owner's Manual (WKD 993 021 96   8.3 M   6/95) 168 pages of reading material and technical information --- very good condition and only shows some minor blemishes or creases on the front and back covers - all pages are intact and are extremely clean! 

3- Warranty and Customer Information 1996 (WKD 900 123 96   7 M   5/95) 102 pages --- some minor smudge is noted on the front cover - no prior owner information has been entered - both original change of address / change of ownership transfer cards are present!!

4- Maintenance booklet (WKD 900 023 96   8.3 M  6/95) --- some indentations are noticeable on the front cover - the original vehicle's information sticker has been removed - five prior service stamps have been entered, last service recorded in Mar 2001 @ 37,108 miles!

5- Porsche CR 210 (radio, cassette & CD) book (WKD 478 724   6/95) --- like-new!

6- Dealer Directory book (PNA 000 045 A   Edition 9//95)

7- Porsche Owner's Arbitration Procedure pamphlet

8- The 911 booklet, includes the technical specifications of 911 Coupe / Cabriolet, 911 Targa, 911 Carrera 4 Coupe/Cabriolet, 911 Carrera 4S and 911 Turbo

Rival media reported that the Jaguar/Land Rover sale would be completed at the Geneva Motor Show earlier this week, but CAR Online spoke to executives close to the deal who said it wouldn’t be for another couple of weeks.‘We didn’t want to over-shadow the products at the show, but to be honest the deal just isn’t done yet,’ said our insider. VW & Audi sell 100,000 diesel cars in the USA for the first time Until very recently, a diesel engined car in the USA was as rare as hen’s teeth; Americans felt much the same as we used to about diesel-engined cars – fit only for commercial vehicles. But from a slow start, VW Group of America is gradually changing the mindset of American car buyers and now, 36 years after the first VW diesel was sold in the US, the VW Group have sold more than 100,000 diesel-engined cars in the USA in a year for the first time. With 12 Audi and VW diesel models on offer in the States – including new arrivals Audi arrivals like the Audi Q5 TDI, A6 TDI, A7 TDI and A8 TDI models – its seems the USA may now be heading down the route the UK went a few years ago, where a majority of car buyers in the UK feel the default buy is a diesel.
