Up for sale is a rare instrument cluster removed from a 1999 Honda Civic SiR (Canadian only model). It will fit all 96-00 Honda Civic models plug and play. It is in perfect working condition and the odometer reads 47,483KMs. There are some light scratches from normal use on the clear cover and some fading on the red script. For those who don't know, these only came on Canadian model 1999 and 2000 SiR cars with the B16A2 engine, so they are very rare. The cluster is Canadian so the outer ring reads in kilometers per hour as well as the odometer. Shipping will be a flat rate of $25 within Canada and $30 to the US. Payment should be made within 3 days of auction end and Paypal is preferred.

Jaguar XF SportBrake - Geneva 2012 debut? There are reports coming from the US this morning that Jaguar will debut the XF SportBrake at the Geneva Motor Show, and it won’t get 4WD. As we reported last week, Jaguar has started the countdown to the debut of the XF Sportbrake – the new Jaguar XF Estate – with some ‘official’ spy shots and a new @sportbrake Twitter account.

Nissan has revealed that it plans to install an electronic steer-by-wire system in to its Infiniti models in 2013. As car makers seek to squeeze every last fraction of a mile out of their cars to hit economy and emissions targets, computer control of many of a car’s functions are controlled by computer, which means the official tests for economy and emissions can be guaranteed to produce predictable results. Now Nissan are to take electronic steering to its logical conclusion by eliminating any direct connection between the steering wheel and the front wheels (except in an emergency) with the first fly-by-wire steering system in a production car.
