First glimpse of the new Corvette ahead of NAIAS debut
Tue, 23 Oct 2012The first video and teaser shots of the 2014 Chevrolet Corvette have emerged, offering just a glimpse of what we can expect when it is launched at the NAIAS in Detroit in January. The video shows desigers working on a clay model before we get a bit too much gratuitous racetrack footage. It's after this we can finally take a look at some detail shots.

Tue, 04 Feb 2014The 2014 Mercedes C-Class (pictured) costs from £26,855 The new Mercedes C-Class for 2014 was revealed in December – looking like a proper baby S-Class – and now we get the specifications and prices for the UK market ahead of its arrival in Mercedes showrooms. To start, there will be just two engines available – 2.0 litre four-cylinder petrol in the C200 and 2.1 litre four-cylinder diesel in the C220 BlueTec – and a choice of six-speed manual and 7-speed auto boxes and three trim levels – SE, Sport and AMG Line. Mercedes say the new C-Class will be the best equipped in its sector, and all models come with a touchpad to control the Infotainment functions, Climate, Media Interface and Artico upholstery.

But when he called to say he was pouring over Porsche’s Panamera 425 metres up in the air, we started to think that maybe the jetlag was getting to him. Apparently not – on the evening before the opening of the Shanghai show, a select group of the world’s automotive media was invited to a preview of the Panamera on the 94th floor of the Shanghai World Financial Centre.
