Here is a ground effects garnishment sill trim piece for the driver's (left) side of the vehicle that mounts under the doors from the front wheel opening to the rear wheel opening.  Part number 71800 / 50-SV4-0000.  There are scratches along the entire bottom as can be expected since this piece takes the punishment of whatever the front wheel throws at it.  There are no breaks or cracks.  All mounting slots are in good shape.  There is a small mounting hole where the front mud flap bolts through that is partially broken out - although I don't think it would have any adverse effect on being able to mount it securely.

May fit other years - please check with your local Honda dealer to determine if this will fit your car.

If you ever have any issues with a part you've purchased from me, please contact me right away.  I will work with you to resolve the issue, as your complete satisfaction is my goal.

Free shipping only applies to the lower 48 states, and excludes Hawaii and Alaska.

Thanks for looking and God bless.

New Hyundai Test Centre at the Nurburgring revealed

Sun, 02 Jun 2013

Hyundai’s new test centre at the Nurburgring If anyone had said, just a few years ago, that Hyundai would develop a test centre at the Nurburgring to help shake-down their cars, they’d have been laughed at. But Hyundai – and Kia – have come so far in recent years that it makes absolute sense for them to develop a full-time testing facility at the Nurburgring to test their cars for the road, along with just about every other car maker of note. James May may object to the Nurburgring factor in the suspension set-ups of many road cars (and we do have some sympathy for his point of view), but the sometimes extreme nature of the Nurburgring’s surfaces – and its endless twists and turns, uphill and down – do offer car makers an easily accessible place to test cars in the (almost) real world.

The SEMA tuning and modified car show held in that centre of American excess, Las Vegas, is a melting pot for all things automotive. From trucks and busses to family saloons and hatchbacks, aftermarket tuning companies go to work making the wackiest modified versions of every type of vehicle around, showing off their wares at SEMA. Not even supercars are off limits.

Toyota Prius Recall: 30,790 cars in the UK, 1.9 million worldwide recalled

Thu, 13 Feb 2014

The 3rd generation Toyota Prius (pictured) is being recalled Toyota’s hasn’t had a lot of luck with recalls in the last few years, although the latest recall for the Toyota Prius isn’t quite on the scale we’ve seen for previous recalls. It’s only eight months since the last Toyota Prius recall – which affected around 5,000 Prius models in the UK from 2009 – but this latest recall is a lot more extensive, affecting third generation Prius built from March 2009 to February 2014 and totalling 30,790 cars in the UK and 1.9 million worldwide. The issue is a problem with the hybrid system’s boost converter software, which is used when the car is under heavy load such as accelerating hard from a standstill.
