Ryde FX 8253 rear suspension shock for many 97-02 Arctic Cat snowmobiles. Reasonable used condition with normal signs of use and age, some rust, dings, paint chips. Could use new bushings. Compression and rebound feel good, shock rod looks good. About 16 and 5/8" extended, about 10 and 1/2" closed center to center of mount holes. You should check with your dealer or oem parts diagram to be sure this will fit your machine.

GM recalls 2013 Cadillac SRX, Buick LaCrosse for software fix

General Motors is recalling about 26,500 copies of the 2013 Buick LaCrosse sedan and Cadillac SRX crossover for a software problem that could cause the automatic transmission to shift out of manual mode. The affected vehicles are equipped with the Driver Shift Control feature, which allows the driver to shift the automatic transmission similar to a manual transmission. GM said in a report filed with the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration that the software problem may cause the transmission to shift unexpectedly from manual mode back to the automatic transmission, which removes any transmission-related engine braking.

Mercedes has revealed the S500 plug-in Hybrid at Frankfurt But the S-Class is the ultimates ‘Bankers Car’. So where to go with S Class without destroying the kudos for buyers is a problem. Mercedes made a start with the mild S400 Hybrid, but as we reported recently they are going much further with the S500 Hybrid which was revealed yesterday at Frankfurt.
