You are bidding on a used body control module (BCM) removed from various 97-02Camaros & Firebirds. It is part # 1623-9981 KUB. It is important that if you are replacing your BCM that it has the same part number and broadcast code. This is the module that controls the power accessories, door locks, alarm, and lighting depending on your vehicles options. It is also coded for the VATS ignition key. What that means is that your ignition key has a resistor (chip) in it, it can be 1 of 16 different resistances. The BCM reads the key, and if correct sends a sign wave to the PCM so that it can pulse the injectors. If you determine that your BCM is faulty, you can let us know what key code you have (measure the resistance or call your local dealer with your VIN # or take your key to a locksmith) and we will see if we have the matching BCM. British team, trusty Fiat Panda set new Africa run record
Mon, 11 Feb 2013The Fiat Panda driving team consisting of British rally drivers Philip Young and Paul Brace arrived in London today, setting a new record time for the 10,000-mile Cape Town, South Africa to London run in the process. With their time of 10 days, 13 hours and 30 minutes, the team managed to break two records: one for the Cape Town to London run and one for the run between the two cities (in either direction). The former previously stood at 14 days, 19 hours and 26 minutes, while the latter was 11 days, 14 hours and 11 minutes.
