2012 Jeep Compass and Patriot to be recalled for fuel-tank problem

Chrysler is recalling nearly 1,700 all-wheel-drive-equipped 2012 Jeep Patriot and 2012 Jeep Compass SUVs for a possible defect in the fuel system. In certain affected vehicles, a valve designed to prevent fuel leakage in the event of a rollover can leak. This is due to damage sustained in testing at the facility where they were manufactured.

Fiat will buy the rest of Chrysler for $4.35 billion

Fiat has announced that it will purchase the rest of Chrysler in a deal totaling $4.35 billion. Currently, the outstanding 41.6 percent stake in the company is owned by the UAW's voluntary employee beneficiary association, or VEBA, trust. Under the terms of the deal, Fiat won't shell out all $4.35 billion.

2013 Ford Focus RS confirmed with 380bhp We never really had any doubt that Ford would produce an RS version of the new Focus. Although we did think that the 2012 Focus RS would come with a hybrid setup giving 4WD. But it seems not.
