Lamborghini LP650-4 Roadster – in the wild
Sun, 31 May 2009Lamborghini Murcielago LP650-4 Roadster at a motor event in the US We first got details on the new Lamborghini LP650-4 Roadster back in February, and Lamborghini subsequently issued a set of pictures to show it was real. But it was a bit of a surprise to see a real one turn up at a Lamborghini event in the US. The rear relates most strongly to the Q7, with its full-width powered tailgate design, where the tail lamps open with the tailgate and auxiliary lamps in the bumper house the mandatory lamp functions.
GM 'will lose money' on the new Chevrolet Volt
Thu, 18 Sep 2008By Ben Whitworth Motor Industry 18 September 2008 14:39 Despite hanging its future on the make-or-break Chevrolet Volt plug-in hybrid car, GM has confirmed that it doesn’t expect to make a profit from it – at least not on the first-generation model. The Chevy Volt was unveiled this week amid much hoopla at GM's centenary. 'I don’t know that I’ve ever seen a situation where we make money, particularly when you load all the costs in,' Fritz Henderson, GM’s chief operating officer, told Automotive News Europe, referring to the company’s first-generation technologies.
