I have a great running 1997 Polaris Scrambler 500 4x4 engine. This thing starts right up and purrs like a kitten. See below link for video of the engine running. I am parting out the entire bike so let me know what you need. Sorry for the in bike pictures but i haven't removed it yet. The engine will come complete with both side covers, recoil (string is broke but I have t handle), starter, and intake boot. Will not come with carb., exhaust, or clutch. Some bolts are missing that hold the recoil on and one from the valve cover where you adjust the valves. It is leaking a little oil out of that one bolt hole and it will have to be installed before use. I might have one laying around that I can stick in there. Oil will be drained for shipment. I want to be as straight forward and honest as possible so ask questions. I believe it will fit a number of years and models, but it is up to you to confirm that it fits your application. It's not the best video and the engine seems to idle higher then it really does, but there is no knocking or top end noise in the engine.

Crash scams warning to drivers
Mon, 02 Dec 2013MOTORISTS have been urged to be on the look-out for criminals staging crashes with their vehicles to make money out of insurance claims. Experts said Bradford and Birmingham were the most likely places for innocent drivers to be caught up in "Crash for Cash" scams but Bolton, Manchester, London, Liverpool and Halifax are also hotspots, and staged accidents can happen anywhere and any time. The Insurance Fraud Bureau (IFB) and Crimestoppers appealed for information on those making bogus claims, in a crime that collectively costs policyholders more than £390 million every year.
