This is a Chrysler Corporation OEM CD Radio that came out of a 2002 Jeep. I am told that it fits several different years & models. It is part # P04704373AE, Issue 1, Supplier 26777H.

It features a CD slot, seek, scan, a three band slider EQ, 5 preset buttons and a joystick. I was unable to test this unit, but it's very clean, and everything turns, slides, clicks and presses freely and easily as it should.

Important! If there is a, "manufacturer's code" involved in setting this radio up, I don't know it, and I can't get it for you. I got this radio used at a yard sale and I am not that knowledgeable about them. Please consult Dodge Chrysler Plymouth Jeep or a qualified installer. Also, please verify the part number for compatibility. Thank you!

The sticker is dated February 2002. There are built-in plastic mounting flanges on the upper right and lower left, and two wire harness ports in the rear that each contain 7 pins, all present & intact. The unit measures approx. 8 1/2" wide x 6" deep x 3 1/2" high, not including the front flanges or rear wire harness ports.

The pictures above show the condition of the actual item you will receive, as I don't use stock photography. I have no other accessories, manuals or extras that are not pictured.

This CD radio is in wonderful condition and shows only minor use. Upon very close inspection the plastic lens looks a bit spotted when viewed from below.  Other than that, there are no significant chips, dents, scratches, marks or stains that I can see.

Because I was unable to fully test this CD Radio, I am selling this piece, "as is."

I will very carefully ship this OEM Chrysler CD Radio to you via USPS Priority Mail.

I'll be sure to send you a follow-up message containing a Tracking Number!

Thank you for bidding!

Porsche 918 infotainment system to be based on HTML5

Wed, 07 Aug 2013

While some automakers, like Ford and General Motors, are beginning to open up their code to outside developers via application programming interfaces, Porsche's taking a very interesting route for the 918 Spyder's infotainment system. The the hybrid supercar's dashboard interface uses the same code that the modern Internet runs on: HTML5. Germany's AutoBild reports that Porsche cites the ease of programming as part of their rationale for the system; smartphone integration is another.

In pictures: backstage at 72nd Goodwood Members’ Meeting

Mon, 31 Mar 2014

It was Glorious Goodwood on the last weekend of March, for Lord March’s latest classic motorsport event – the 72nd Goodwood Members’ Meeting. It’s one of only two race weekend to be held at the circuit since it reopened in the late 1990s: Lord March wants it to complement the world-famous September Goodwood Revival and become known as a classic in its own right. The difference here is that, as its name suggests, it’s a members-only event: only Goodwood Road Racing Club members can buy tickets.
