Mon, 29 Nov 20102010 saw the students of Korea's Hong-ik University showcase their interpretations of ‘Stimulating urban lifestyles'. The 12th annual degree show at the University centered on creating a ‘Whole new, different kind of urban vehicle.' 18 final year transportation design students took on the brief, with underlying themes such as crash safety, versatility and the ability to adapt the vehicle to suit varying driver needs appearing throughout the students' work. Denmark's Zenvo ST1 supercar lurks at the Geneva Auto Show
Wed, 05 Mar 2014Zenvo launched the first ST1 about two and a half years ago and has sold “five, about” since then, though the company's press material lists only two sales. Founded by a Dane and headquartered just outside Copenhagen, the world's only Danish supercarmaker has since been bought by a Russian oligarch. The Zenvo ST1 is designed, engineered and manufactured completely by Zenvo, which even made the engine.
New British car company aims for bespoke market
Fri, 13 Dec 2013A NEW BRITISH car company has been launched and the Alcraft Motor Company aims to offer bespoke designs based on existing models. The company says it will offer enhanced designs for Aston Martin, Jaguar and Land Rover models to begin with. Each design will be unique to the customer in a move that harks back to the days of coachbuilt cars of the 1920s.
