You are bidding on an motor pulled from a 1997 CBR 1100XX Blackbird. We test rode this 1100XX before we pulled the motor... the motor ran strong and shifted flawlessly. The motor sounded amazing. NOTE --- the only issue we found is a very small top end noise when you very first lay on the throttle. Sounds like the valves may need adjustment. We like to be totally honest about our motors so we wanted to mention this. Also the bolts for the oil cooler are broke off and will need extracted. Some paint flake on the finish with is normal. Please view the pics for exact condition. Valves are very clean.
Documents... Motor will come with a bill of sale from our shop that will include the VIN of the bike it was pulled from (upon request) ... so no worries on where the motor came from.
Shipping... We will ship this motor via motor freight, terminal to terminal service or to a business with dock / forklift (unloading capability). You will need to pick up the motor at a terminal location if you chose that option. Email us for more details on shipping details and prices. We have posted a sample epic of how this motor will be shipped to you. SHIPPING TO A RESIDENCE WILL BE EXTRA.
Packing... We ship all of our motors fully encased and secure. We take great care in the way we ship our motors... we ship them out the way we would want them to come to us. The motor will come to you fully encased in a heavy duty container, tied down to a pallet. Completely protected inside by high density foam.
INTERCHANGE ... This motor will work on a 1997-1998 CBR1100XX Carb model. SHOULD also work on a 1999-2007 1100XX FI models as the motor blosk is basically the same. Check with your local dealer to be sure on fitment.
