Up for auction is a 97-99 Firebird Trans Am Automatic Console w/Lid & Shifter Plate Used NICE OEM GM. This console assembly came out of a 97 Trans Am with 16K miles!!! The only thing that is "wrong" with the item is that the owner drilled a hole for a light in the shifter plate. Item shipped as shown.

Ford streamlines design process with latest 3D technologies
Thu, 16 May 2013Ford has released details of its use of new digital technologies in streamlining its design process. Designers use what they call the 3D CAVE – Computer Automated Virtual Environment – to recreate a car's interior by projecting images onto the large white walls and roof. 3D polarizing glasses framed with motion sensors are used to transport them into the car's virtual interior.
Next-generation Chevy Volt to have 60-mile electric range?
Mon, 12 Aug 2013On the heels of the recently announced price cut for the 2014 Volt, General Motors chief executive Dan Akerson is suggesting that we may see a Volt with 60-mile electric range in three or four years. In an interview with Bloomberg, Akerson suggests that GM is hoping for a "significant" improvement in the extended-range Chevy's ability to run solely on electric power. “For something to be significant to me, I gotta get at least 20 percent improvement in performance," the CEO asserted.
