Citroen DS3 hits 200,000
Fri, 16 Nov 2012The upmarket Citroen C3 – the very appealing Citroen DS3 – has hit the 200,000 production mark this week, a little over 2 years from launch. But we had to do a complete volte face when we finally had the new Citroen DS3 in for review – it’s an absolute cracker. In fact, so impressed were we with the DS3, we thought it probably the best car we’d had in during 2010, something Top Gear ended up agreeing with us on when they made it their car of 2010.
Qoros to launch second model at 2014 Geneva Motor Show
Fri, 27 Dec 2013Qoros The second car to be built by the fledgling Qoros car maker will be revealed at the 2014 Geneva Motor Show, the Chinese firm announced today. These new pictures are the first sight of the new model, which will go on sale in China in 2014. Although only these two shadowy teaser images have been published, they appear to show a bigger family car, perhaps an SUV.
There will NOT be a ‘Super’ LaFerrari after all
Tue, 07 May 2013Ferrari has been on the phone this morning to explain that the man from Autocar who spoke to LaFerrari’s chief designer, Flavio Manzoni, got hold of entirely the wrong end of the stick when discussing the design elements Ferrari didn’t use on LaFerrari. It seems Manzoni was explaining that during the design process for LaFerrari there were many design elements that couldn’t be included on LaFerrari, but were so good they wanted to keep them for use on future Ferraris. That was seized upon as confirmation that Ferrari were planning a ‘Super’ LaFerrari to sit above the new supercar at an even more extreme price.
