Jaguar SUV / Crossover – new photo ahead of reveal
Sat, 07 Sep 2013The second photo of the new Jaguar Crossover Jaguar started teasing their new Crossover - codenamed C-X17 – just last week, but we’ve already had the first leaked photo of the new SUV from Jaguar. That photo was just a full on front shot which told us not much more than that the new crossover stands taller than any other Jaguar and comes with a familiar – if slightly more butch – take on Jaguar’s family nose. But now we get a second photo of the new SUV ahead of its debut at Frankfurt next week (which turned up on ImageShack), and this time it’s a front three quarters profile showing us much more clearly what the new Jaguar has to offer.
MINI celebrates 100 years of car production in Oxford
Fri, 08 Mar 2013MINI will be celebrating a century of car production in Oxford on 28th March 2013, 100 years since the first Bullnose Morris Oxford was produced. It’s 100 years since the first Bullnose Morris Oxford rolled out on 28th March 1903, since when 11,655,000 cars have been built – with as many as 28,000 people employed in its heyday – and even Tiger Moth planes and Iron Lungs built alongside 80,000 repairs to Spitfires and Hurricanes during WWII. What is now MINI’s Plant Oxford was founded by William Morris – and Morris Motors kept control until 1952 – and has been owned and run by BMC, then British Motor Holdings (when Jaguar arrived), British Leyland (when Leyland Trucks, Triumph and Rover joined), nationalisation in the 1970s saw a variety of names, Rover Group arrived in 1986 and was subsequently privatised and sold in 1994 to BMW.

Mon, 21 May 2012Abarth 695 Maserati Edition costs £32,000 The Abarth 695 Maserati Edition – a.k.a. Edizione Maserati – will cost £32,000 when it arrives in the UK at the end of 2012. Having churned out a tribute to Ferrari with the Abarth 695 Tributo Ferrari, Fiat (we should say Abarth, to be technically correct) revealed the Abarth 695 Tributo Maserati at the Geneva Motor Show in March to bring in a few bob more from those happy to pay through the nose for a titivated Fiat 500.
