The ‘Mini’ MINI Rocketman (pictured) could go in to production
The MINI Rocketman Concept was revealed at the Geneva Motor Show in 2011 as a smaller MINI than the one BMW were selling at the time, and it looked like BMW were considering going the smaller route to make the MINI more fun. But with the 2014 MINI now revealed, BMW has gone the opposite route by underpinning the new MINI with the UKL platform that will also underpin the next BMW 1 Series, and made the latest MINI even bigger than the last one. But it seems BMW still see mileage in a ‘Mini MINI’ and appear keen to find a way to make the Rocketman a production reality.

Alfa Romeo release UK prices for the MiTo MultiAir
Alfa Romeo has been threatening the MultiAir engines for the MiTo for ages (last June!) and have even launched models featuring the new engines. But it’s taken them until now to get round to giving us prices for the new MiTo range. Just to refresh your memory, the MultiAir engines for the MiTo work by improving combustion and engine management resulting in improved performance and torque and improved economy with lower emissions.

After last week's leak, here is the official announcement of the Renault Alpine A110-50. These new photos reveal a mid-engined sports car shadowing the Renault Dezir, but with an Alpine twist. As hinted at by that name, the A110-50 doffs its cap to the golden anniversary of the original Alpine A110 - as does that Alpine Blue paint job.
