You are bidding on a used set of rear brakes removed from various 98-02 LS1 Camaros and Firebirds. These are a great rear disc brake setup. The rotors are approx. 12" in diameter, they use a single piston aluminum caliper, with an integral parking drum inside the rotor. This auction is for 1 LH side brakes, and 1 RH side brakes : 2 backing plates w/parking hardware, 2 rotors, 2 calipers and caliper brackets, 2 emergency brake cables, pads, and rubber brake lines. We have sold numerous of these kits before, and they seem to be pretty adaptable to just about any rear. Since these brakes are large, they require 16" wheels or larger. They do fit very few 15" wheels, the only way to be sure they would fit is to test fit a wheel on the brakes, we don't know the clearance of every 15" wheel. These work on most rear coil spring applications with no clearance issues. The photo shown is a stock photo of the item that we have for sale on a regular basis. Lotus Evora Facelift heading for Frankfurt
Sat, 09 Jul 2011Lotus Evora Facelift expected at Frankfurt based on the Mansory Evora (above) It’s a ‘back to reality’ story from Lotus, for a change, with the news that, possibly, they are going to take a facelift Lotus Evora to the Frankfurt Motor Show. Of course, we’ve been here before. Earlier in the year we reported that Lotus were taking an Evora with a facelift off to Geneva, but that turned out to be a Mansory version of the Evora, seemingly with the blessing of Lotus as it appeared on their stand.
Honda to leave F1

Honda is set to announce that its Formula 1 Team is to be put up for sale with immediate effect, and if no buyer materialises then it intends pulling out of the new Formula 1 season due to start in March 2009.

Wed, 16 Dec 2009The new VW Passat CC R-Line So far VW has managed to add an R-Line model to the Golf, Scirocco, Touran, Tiguan, Passat Variant and Touareg and of course to the regular Passat offerings with the Passat R-Line being introduced on the saloon and Estate back in May. And now we get the VW Passat CC R-Line. Sadly – as with all recent R-Line offerings – we’re not getting power improvements but just a cosmetic job.
