Baby Rolls-Royce named as Ghost
Mon, 20 Apr 2009By Ben Pulman Motor Industry 20 April 2009 09:00 Rolls-Royce has revealed that its new sub-Phantom saloon will be called Ghost. The announcement was made by Rolls CEO Tom Purves at a press conference held at the Shanghai motor show this morning, and he also teased at other future models that will bear the Ghost name. RR4 was just the codename for the ‘baby’ Rolls, as it was the fourth model in the new-generation of cars under BMW ownership (after the Phantom, Phantom DHC and Phantom Coupe).
2013 Volkswagen Golf Estate (Mk 7) revealed early

More in the ‘They didn’t want it to arrive yet‘ saga in the run-up to the start of the 2013 Geneva Motor Show, with this offering being the firts pictures of the new VW Golf Estate. There really isn’t a huge amount to say about the new Golf Estate except it’s a Mk 7 Golf with a small shed on the back and looks likely to be a favourite family buy.
BMW and Local Motors announce contest winners
Wed, 07 Nov 2012BMW and Local Motors have announced the winning ideas in the Urban Driving Experience Challenge after phase one of the contest closed on 16 October. Anthony Franze of Australia won first prize and a cash award of $7,500 with his design for a premium car sharing service called ‘BMW Reward Me.' He also earned himself a trip to Munich, Germany, to meet with the head of BMW's Group Research and Technology, Dr. Christoph Grote.
