Lego movie needs vehicle designers

Lego is giving its fans the chance to win $1,000 and see their own custom Lego vehicle designs on the big screen in ‘Lego: The Motion Picture'. There are no limitations on what kind of vehicles you can design, but the trick is that the vehicle you design must look like it was built from something else - a castle that was made into a racecar, a hot dog stand that was made into an airplane, for example. Young Men Most Likely To Be Disqualified From Driving

NEW figures obtained by the Institute of Advanced Motorists (IAM) show that male drivers between the ages of 20 and 30 were the most common group to be disqualified from driving in the 12 months between July 2013 and June 2014. The figures were supplied by the DVLA following a Freedom of Information request made by the IAM. The statistics reveal the age groups most commonly carrying out a driving offence that then lead to a subsequent driving ban.

Announced today and effective from 1 August 2013, Dr Wolfgang Ziebart becomes group engineering director, replacing Bob Joyce who moves into the new role of product creation and delivery director. Ziebart worked in R&D at BMW for 23 years, before moving onto key suppliers Continental and semi-conductor maker Infineon.
