Maserati sales up 4-fold in UK & Europe this year

Mon, 12 May 2014

The Maserati Ghibli (pictured) helped Maserati to strong sales in UK & Europe Maserati are on a mission to revive sales for the marque after years of being just an afterthought for car buyers fancying something interesting and Italian. And it seems to be working. The new Maserati Ghibli (and the Quattroporte) are starting to appeal to car buyers in the UK and Europe so much that sales so far in 2014 are up by 420 per cent on 2013, and although the actual numbers aren’t massive, the progress certainly is.

Lamborghini Murcielago LP650-4 Roadster

Thu, 19 Feb 2009

Lamborghini Murcielago LP650-4 Roadster Expected to sport the same 650bhp engine as the Reventon, this LP650-4 looks like it’s going to be one of the quickest open-topped cars there is, with a 0-60 time just over 3 seconds. Just like the Reventon, the LP650-4 looks likely to come in just one colour choice, in this case a matt grey (Grigio Telesta) with orange accents, and dark painted alloys. With the expected launch of the LP670-4 SV happening at Geneva in a couple of weeks, it is unlikely that Lamborghini will show this car, more likely saving it for later in the year for maximum impact.

Daihatsu OFC-1 and HSC concepts

By Ben Pulman Motor Shows 11 September 2007 10:51 It looks remarkably like a Copen… It does indeed, and at 5mm shorter, the same width, and only 45mm higher the OFC-1 is all but identical to the Copen. In fact, it is the new Copen, just not as cute. But perhaps the biggest changes is the switch from a two to a three-piece folding roof.
