Rolls Royce Ghost Series II – the Ghost facelift: Geneva Motor Show

Tue, 04 Mar 2014

The Rolls Royce Ghost Series II (pictured) debuted at Geneva When Rolls Royce gives one of their cars a rare facelift it becomes the ‘Series II’, and that’s exactly what we get at Geneva today with the reveal of the facelift for the Ghost – the Rolls Royce Ghost Series II. Perhaps the most noticeable cosmetic change is the new headlights which make the front look less square and get daytime running lights round the edge,a revised RR grill with slightly more curved uprights, revised bumpers, extra chrome highlights and a new channel running up the bonnet from the Spirit of Ecstacy. Inside, Rolls Royce has added new electric seats in the back which can be angled towards one another, new voice control,  and a new touch-sensitive controller for the 102″ Infotainment screen. Extra choices of veneer are now on offer as is even more extended leather.

Lamborghini LP650-4 Roadster – in the wild

Sun, 31 May 2009

Lamborghini Murcielago LP650-4 Roadster at a motor event in the US We first got details on the new Lamborghini LP650-4 Roadster back in February, and Lamborghini subsequently issued a set of pictures to show it was real. But it was a bit of a surprise to see a real one turn up at a Lamborghini event in the US. Sporting the same 650bhp as the Lamborghini Reventon, the LP650-4 Roadster is the last of the line of open-topped Murcielagos (apart from the Reventon Roadster – which as there will only be 9 doesn’t really count), and is the successor to the LP640 Roadster.

Koenigsegg Agera One:1 heading for UK debut at Goodwood Festival of Speed

Mon, 19 May 2014

The Koenigsegg Agera One:1 is heading for Goodwood It was back in 2012 that we exclusively revealed the first official details of the Koenigsegg One:1, the most extreme car Koenigsegg has produced. Since then, Christian von Koenigsegg and his team have not only built the Agera One:1, but they managed to sell them all first at a price that makes grown men weep and officially revealed it back in February. Since then, Koenigsegg have been busy showing off the One:1 in a series of videos and giving the One:1 its first public outing at the Geneva Motor Show in March.
