Subaru Trezia: Geneva Launch
Mon, 24 Jan 2011The Subaru Trezia When we got news that Subaru were taking their half of the Toyobaru project to Geneva – the Subaru FT-86 – for its first public outing, we did mention that there would also be another Subaru launch – the Subaru Trezia. So we thought we ought to enlighten you a bit. Fuel prices 'still number one concern'
Tue, 08 Apr 2014FUEL DUTY freezes have done nothing to stop the public worrying about the price of filling up their cars, according to research from British Car Auctions. More than 70% of the 400-person sample cited fuel prices as the number one concern when it comes to motoring costs, despite reports from the AA that pump prices have actually fallen over the last year. Second place in the survey was taken by the cost of road tax, which reflects that the survey was taken among used car buyers.
Will the Toyota Prius plug-in cost much the same as a normal Prius?
Mon, 19 Sep 2011Toyota Prius plug-in - only around £2.5k more than a regular Prius? Toyota has managed to corner the market in hybrid cars over the last decade after its remarkably prescient decision to focus on ‘Eco’ cars long before the mainstream cottoned on to the changing mood of governments – and car buyers – to the impact cars have on wallets and the environment. We won’t drag out our usual objections to the ceaseless quest for pointless ever-lower CO2 emissions, but we will instead commend the Prius for being a remarkable transport appliance, one which – if driven in a certain manner – can produce remarkable feats of economy and emit pleasingly low levels of the stuff that does real harm – NOx and Particulates.
