The Italian supercar maker claims to have drawn on inspiration from the fashion world in order to create the latest interior and exterior colours. The Gallardo Spyder (centre) is painted in Marrone Apus, a colour Lambo describes as ‘halfway between brown and black’, but there is a golden reflection due to a special pigment in the paint.

Thankfully, there are still enough wealthy people in the world who don’t give a fig about the opinions of the eco-mentalists and who are inclined to buy the best that car makers can produce, regardless of eco-sensibilities. Which is why we can still glory in motoring delights like the Aston Martin One-77 even if its £1.2 million price tags is beyond the reach of most.

Fri, 01 May 2009Jaguar and Land Rover are to open for business in India Well, I suppose it was always going to happen. After all, Jaguar Land Rover (JLR), although still considered by most to be a traditional British car maker, is in fact owned by Indian Conglomerate Tata. And Tata has announced this morning that Jaguar Cars and Land Rovers are to go on sale in India.
