I REMOVED THE STROBES AND COVERED THE HOLES WITH HIGH QUALITY ELECTRIC TAPE AND THEY NEVER HAD ANY PROBLEMS FOR YEARS AND STILL HAVEN'T. ALL SALES ARE FINAL. BE SURE TO CHECK OUT MY OTHER AUCTIONS. Martin Smith has been guiding Ford of Europe's design efforts since he was appointed to the position of Executive Design Director in 2004, coming straight over from an illustrious career at General Motors. During his tenure as Director of Design at GM Europe, Smith oversaw the Insignia concept car as well as much of the Opel range, including the acclaimed Astra. At Ford, Smith spearheaded the automaker's 'Kinetic Design' strategy and has since presented this vision in both concept and production car form.

The Dacia Sandero Stepway will be available in Europe from September The Dacia Sandero Stepway is in fact the European version of the Stepway that was launched in Brazil at the end of last year by the Romanian version of Renault, and has now had its European launch at this week’s Barcelona Motor Show. Based on the Dacia Sandero hatchback, the Sandero features a raised ride height, a satin finished chrome nose and roof bars, 16″ wheels and a chrome exhaust pipe. It comes equipped with EBD (electronic brake distribution) and EBA (emergency brake assist).

In late 1984, Oldsmobile management had so much confidence in the potential of its new inline four-cylinder engine Quad 4, that a small team was assigned to the creation of the Aerotech, a research vehicle designed to demonstrate the engine's performance by setting a new world speed record. Ed Welburn, then assistant chief designer, was mostly working on the 1988 Cutlass Supreme but his passion for race cars made him the ideal candidate to be handed the assignment by Oldsmobile 2 studio's chief David North. Inspired by Le Mans racers such as the Porsche 917LH and Jim Hall's Chaparrals, he designed a long, flowing car that immediately seduced design director Chuck Jordan and GM management.
