These are file photos of an Aluminum Rear drive shaft out of a 4WD 2001 Chevy K2500 Silverado pick-up with an Automatic transmission. It was a Short Bed Extra Cab truck (143.5" Wheel Base). This Drive Shaft will only fit the NON HD K2500 Trucks with a 143.5" Wheel Base. If you have options code "HVY" in your glove box then your truck is a K2500HD and this driveshaft WILL NOT fit your truckOur Stock # 161094 GG

Seat completes industry's largest solar panel installation

SEAT HAS completed construction of the largest solar panel installation in the automotive industry. The huge 'Seat al Sol' array at the firm’s Martorell plant outside Barcelona is the size of 40 football pitches and generates 15 million kilowatt hours of power per year courtesy of the reliable Spanish sunshine. The electricity produced is enough to account for a quarter of the amount needed to build a year’s allocation of Leons, reducing the factory’s energy bills significantly and saving 7,000 tonnes of CO2 per year.

Mercedes-Benz to use inflatable rear seatbelts on new car

Mercedes-Benz will begin equipping its cars with inflatable seatbelts for rear passengers, making it the second automaker to use the safety technology. Mercedes said the belt would be introduced on an upcoming luxury car. A likely candidate is the redesigned S-class sedan, which the German automaker is preparing to put into production next year.
