Chrysler Delta arriving at UK dealers – Chrysler Ypsilon arrives September
Fri, 26 Aug 2011Chrysler Delta - now arriving in UK dealers There’s a long history of Lancia in the UK being associated with grief. So much so that Lancia left the UK market altogether in 1994. But now it’s on the way back, although you wouldn’t know it from the badges on the cars which herald that return – the Chrysler Delta and the Chrysler Ypsilon.
Ford Mondeo goes green
Sun, 03 Jun 2007By Ben Barry First Official Pictures 03 June 2007 01:57 New Mondeo spearheads Ford's ramp-up of bio-fuel models Ford announced an expansion in its flexifuel range. Flexifuel allows a vehicle to run on either regular petrol or E85 – an 85/15 percent bio-ethanol/petrol blend – and automatically offsets any carbon emissions produced because more crops are always produced to meet the demand for fuel. Ford president and CEO John Fleming confirmed that the existing Focus and C-Max flexifuel cars would be joined by Mondeo, Galaxy and S-Max derivatives, which will all come on stream from early 2008.
Opel / Vauxhall Astra revealed
Wed, 13 May 2009New Vauxhall / Opel Astra revealed ahead of a launch at the Frankfurt Motor Show in September The Astra has been with us for 30 years, and this is the sixth generation to hit the showrooms. And it looks to be the best yet (as you would hope), with a cohesive style and loads of design cues taken from Vauxhall’s Insignia. This new Astra is built on the same platform as the much heralded Vauxhall Ampera (the Electric Car that will be the salvation of GM – once the technology is sorted) and as such offers a bigger wheelbase (up by 71mm) on a 4.4 meter (14′ 4″) body, with a wider track, which should make the Astra a better drive.
