Up for purchase or best offer is a very good used L/H front door weatherstrip that was recently removed from a 2000 Yukon. According to our GM parts catalog, OEM part #15244250 fits numerous '99 thru '06 Chevy, GMC, & Cadillac vehicles such as Silverados, Avalanche, Sierras, Yukons, Tahoes, and Escalades.

Found in group 16.225 this weatherstrip fits around the entire door, measures approx. 3/4" in width at the channel (hard) portion and 5/8" in width at the rubber (squishy) portion and has numerous holes where it mounts to the retainers. Is in excellent shape with no cuts or tears, and the rubber is still very pliable and not dry-rotted.
Is still sold thru GM for a retail of $83.67... and even if you were to purchase the cheapest on ebay it would cost you $59.74!!!

Sergio Marchionne, CEO of Fiat S.p.A. and Chrysler Group LLC, will retain oversight of the two automakers in North America under a single management team dominated by Fiat-bred executives. Four regional chiefs will be in charge of Fiat and Chrysler operations in North America, South America, Europe and Asia effective Sept.

Opel rolls out new cars at Frankfurt motor show

While some automakers had just one or two new cars to show off at the Frankfurt motor show, GM's Opel division flooded the show with seven new offerings that'll be revealed as the show progresses. While there were plenty of new production models to be seen, including the revised Opel Insignia lineup, it was perhaps the Opel Monza concept that was designed to grab the attention of showgoers. We got a sneak peek at the Opel Monza concept a couple months ago, and even though a production version is not planned, the Monza is meant to showcase Opel's recent resurgence.

For a glimpse of Toyota's future design trends, check out the Prius. The third generation, debuting Monday in Japan, stays true to the line's role as a vanguard of futuristic styling and sports many new elements that will be popping up soon in other models. Chief among these are the sharply creased corners, the forward placement of the Toyota badge, a lowered grille and styling that Toyota's global design chief Wahei Hirai calls "free-form geometrics." The goal was to create an avant-garde, high-tech look that also screams green.
