Audi Sport Quattro concept to wow Frankfurt Motor Show 2013
Wed, 04 Sep 2013Audi will reveal a stunning Sport Quattro concept car at the Frankfurt Motor Show 2013 – the spiritual successor to the brilliant 1980s Audi Sport Quattro. With a 700hp V8 hybrid drivetrain capable of 189mph AND 113mpg, it really is a legend reborn for modern times. Audi is debuting the Sport Quattro concept in Frankfurt 30 years after the original Sport Quattro was shown at the very same show.
New Audi Q7 (2013) to shed weight. But no Audi Q9 planned.
Fri, 12 Aug 2011The 2013 Audi Q7 will be much lighter than the current Q7 The Audi Q7 was rather late to the SUV party of the noughties, not hitting the road until 2005. But Audi are working on fixing that, and fixing the biggest criticism of the Q7 in the process – its sheer weight and size.
New COPO Camaro concept hits the drag strip
Fri, 16 Dec 2011This Friday video goodness features a white 2012 COPO Camaro Stock Eliminator Concept on the drag strip. As Autoweek contributor Patrick Paternie explained during the SEMA show, the new COPO (Central Office Production Order) nameplate pays homage to the rare high-powered 1969 Camaros created through a loophole in the special-order program. This enabled dealers to specify a 427 engine--COPO 9560, the aluminum ZL1, or COPO 9561, the Corvette-based L72 iron block--despite the Camaro technically being limited to the 396-cubic-inch powerplant.
