It's a 14 unit limited edition produced through the Aston Martin Works Tailored customisation programme, and available through Colette's Paris store. Aston Martin Cygnet & Colette: the fashionista's Aston Martin Colette (it's supposed to be lower-case, like Audi's spelling of Quattro) stylists have left the unfashionable mechanical parts alone and concentrated on the colour and trim selection on the Cygnet. Outside, the Cygnet gets 'Colette blue' highlights over silver paint, including what Aston Martin refers to as 'Colette blue grille lipstick and body stripe'. Young driver training scheme to expand
Wed, 25 Sep 2013AN EXCITING scheme has been launched in curricula across the country to give children education in and practical experience of safe driving. A mixture of off-road hands-on young driver training mixes with theory work to give kids a head-start on road safety issues and take away some of the urge to rush to pass their tests when they reach 17. After tracking the progress of students who took part in a pilot scheme, the operators of Young Driver at School discovered that the training course reduced the rate of accidents by half, when compared to the normal accident rate for 17-24 year-olds.
Mazda Miata roadster passes 900,000-built milestone
Fri, 04 Feb 2011Mazda on Friday built its 900,000th MX-5 Miata, raising the bar on its Guinness World Record for best-selling two-seat sports car. The MX-5 Miata originally set the record in May 2000, when production reached 531,890 units. But the record was updated when production reached 700,000 units and again when production reached 800,000 units.
