Official: Honda F1 becomes Brawn GP
Fri, 06 Mar 2009Honda F1 morphs in to Brawn GP Well, it’s good to see they survived! After reporting last week that the Honda F1 team was going to be the subject of a management buyout, thus securing the team and its employees, an official announcement has now been made and we can confirm that Ross Brawn has taken control of the Honda F1 Team, which will henceforth be known as Brawn GP. It would have been a mighty shame if Ross Brawn had been lost to F1 again.
GM may use diesels in light-duty pickups
Mon, 11 Jun 2012General Motors is considering a diesel engine for light-duty versions of its redesigned full-sized pickups. GM North America President Mark Reuss said in an interview that a diesel is among the options for the next-generation Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra, which are due in showrooms next spring. Chrysler Group recently said it is considering a diesel for its light-duty Ram.

It’s just a shame that the closest it comes to being a hot hatch is the little more than lukewarm Fiesta Zetec S. But that’s about to change, and not before time.
