The Car Care Part number shown on the shipping label is not found in the 1998 parts guide.  The only description available is:

Car Care Part # AC1856NCL catalog description noted as "CMP C171 W/NEW A590 2GRV CL"

The clutch shows a label with 1443-44 Made in USA.  This is a new Warner clutch.

This is a C171 compressor with 2 groove clutch, 2 terminal coil, .81" mounting distance

The compressor appears to be in new condition but without a catalog reference it is listed here as remanufactured with a new clutch.

Four Seasons cross reference part # 57104 is for a remanufactured unit.

We are selling the inventory of an automotive heating and air conditioning shop that closed in the year 2000.  Many of the parts were distributed by Car Care Parts Manufacturing of Valencia, California.  Many of the parts were listed in the 1998 catalog as either "NEW" or "Remanufactured" using specific part number designations.  The part number designation for the NEW compressors would either include the word "NEW" in the part number or start with the letter "N."  Examples would be AC1751NEW and N078050P.  Remanufactured compressors were also sold and described as having a full 12 month/12,000 mile warranty.  Part number examples of remanufactured compressors would be AC1751 and R078050P.  Many of these remanufactured compressors would be spray painted flat black and not appear in new condition.

The inventory has been in storage on pallets in a closed shop building. The boxes have been opened to cross reference part numbers and take photos. We are NOT in the auto heating and air conditioning business and are selling these parts with NO guarantee or warranty.  Our definition of "NEW" or "Remanufactured" is based on the item part number and appearance of the unit being sold.  The description and photos (unless noted) are of the exact item we will ship. We will only make refunds if the item received does not match our description. Please verify that the item will work for you using online cross-referencing, comparing photos to the parts on your vehicle and checking the part compatibility with your AC technician before purchasing from us.

New Infiniti Q50 2.0 litre Turbo – Price from £31,755

Tue, 08 Jul 2014

New Infiniti Q50 2.0 litre Turbo costs from £31,755 The Infiniti Q50 should be Infiniti’s best chance to convince buyers Infiniti is a viable option in the premium sector and a sensible alternative to the BMW 3 Series. That perception will be helped – a bit – by the arrival of the Infinito Q50 with another engine option, this one a 2.0 litre Turbo petrol with 211 bhp, which comes with a seven-speed automatic as standard. Oddly, Infiniti are shy of delivering any performance or economy data for the new 2.0 litre Turbo, so we’re guessing the figures don’t really impress too much.

Opel / Vauxhall Mocha almost revealed as Buick Encore

Wed, 04 Jan 2012

Three quarters of the Bucik Encore - the American Mocha The European Opel / Vauxhall Mocha – a Corsa based SUV – has been almost revealed in the US with a tease for the Buick Encore. Just before Christmas we reported on a new Corsa-based SUV on the way from Vauxhall and Opel which looks like it’s going to be the Opel Mocha (and, we assume, the Vauxhall Mocha too). But in this new ‘One World’ for cars, where North America actually gets the sort of cars they would once have derided as too small to consider, the Mocha is also going on sale in the US.
