Porsche 911 Carrera S Powerkit offers 424 bhp

Porsche is offering a Powerkit for the Carrera S with 424bhp and an Aerokit Cup bodykit for the faux GT3 look. The 2012 Porsche 911 Carrera has only been with us for five minutes but already Porsche are offering more power and some add-on aero bits for a bit of a faux GT3 experience for new 911 owners. On the power front, Porsche Exclusive is offering a Powerkit for the 911 Carrera S which ups its power to 430hp (424bhp) from the regular 400hp.

The jubilant Nissan GT-R team celebrates their new lap record at the Nurburgring [ad#ad-1] The Nissan GT-R is indeed an impressive car. It offers real supercar performance for what appears to be a relatively modest price. Admittedly it still costs an arm and a leg to service, and with exchange rates as they are at the moment it will become less of a bargain, but it’s certainly chucked a very big spanner in to the works as far as the more established Supercar makers are concerned (Porsche in particular had plenty to say about the last time the GT-R set).

The Nissan Mixim concept car is a compact vehicle for young drivers who are mostly engaged by their computer and the world via the internet -  and it's a new step toward the Japanese company becoming greener. The design incorporates styling features not often seen in electric vehicles, including gullwing doors in a svelte coupe shape. Its wraparound windscreen, inspired by the visor of a crash helmet, dominates the profile while the swept back windscreen, flowing roofline and sharply truncated rear hints at sporting performance.
