Mazda Kiyora concept (2008): first pictures

By Ben Pulman First Official Pictures 04 September 2008 10:26 The Mazda Kiyora is the latest Nagare ‘flow’ concept, and previews an all-new Mazda city car that could be in production as early as 2010 if public reaction is positive enough. The Kiyora will be revealed at the Paris motor show and continues Mazda’s latest vision of ‘Sustainable Zoom-Zoom’. Clean and pure, apparently.

Subaru BRZ Turbo confirmed

Subaru BRZ Turbo - which should be good for 300bhp Subaru in the US has confirmed that they are planning to build a turbo version of the new Boxer engine in the BRZ to create the Subaru BRZ Turbo. Finally, after promises that it was on its way for what seems like ever, we saw the arrival of the production versions of the Subaru BRZ and Toyota FT-86  at Tokyo (which had a small name change and arrive as the GT86). But what was a disappointment was that despite Subaru saying the BRZ would come with ‘less than 300bhp’, it actually came with almost exactly the same power as the GT 86 – a much less enticing 200bhp.

Kia announces upcoming concept

Kia will unveil an, as yet, unnamed concept car at the Geneva motor show this March. The concept, which the carmaker calls ‘provocative and racy', features a new take on Kia's signature tiger nose aesthetic that integrates the headlamps into the grille design in a narrow, full-width strip. The lamps themselves seem to be contructed of a pixelted, mesh-like light source.
