Mazda had been doing fantastically well with its concepts since the end of 2006, and its offering for the 2007 Tokyo motor show didn't buck the trend. The fourth in the 'Nagare' series that explored the idea of 'Flow, it lined up on the Mazda stand with its older brothers for the first time, and was understandably a most impressive display and one of the highlights of this show. The Audi Q7 Project by Project Khan Having worked over the products of Land Rover in recent years to keep the orange inhabitants of Cheshire loftily mobile, Project Khan has now decided that Audi is deserving of its gifts and has set about ‘Khan-ising’ the Audi Q7. And actually, in many ways, the Audi Q7 benefits from some of Khan’s work. The Audi Q7 isn’t the most iconic or visually appealing SUV on the planet, and rather than detracting from what’s on offer some aspects of the Audi Q7 Project do enhance.

The Alfa Romeo MiTo Maserati - the Maserati courtesy car As you’ll know if you read here regularly, we like the Alfa Romeo MiTo. Sure, it has its faults (what car doesn’t) but it’s very stylish, remarkably well put together (certainly for an Alfa), fun to drive and holds its value well (which is a real first for Alfa Romeo). But it’s not necesarily the sort of car that would register on the radar of the average Maserati owner.
