Toyota Verso S - launches at the Paris Motor Show It always seems like something of an oxymoron – mini MPV – but there really is no other way to describe Toyota’s new B-Class MPV – the Toyota Verso-S. Unfortunately, this release by Toyota is one step on from a tease. Presented at the 1999 Tokyo Motor Show, the project began when Marc Newson was commissioned by Ford global design director, J Mays, to create an innovative interior. Their mutual passion for design and their enthusiasm led to a much larger project and Newson eventually delivered a complete working prototype.
