This is a "New Super Master Rebuild Kit" for the 1962 - 1970, TF 727 CHRYSLER Transmissions.

This kit includes the following items:

¨      M- 22006 ... Master W/Steels Kit, A727 1962-70, Raybestos Frictions and Steels with a Toledo Trans-Kit Overhaul gasket and seals kit.

¨      M- 12010C ... Filter, A727/A518/A618 Large Dacron 1966-97

¨      M- A22022A ... Band, A727/A518/A618 Kickdown Flex

¨      M- 22034 ... Bushing, A727/A518 Pump Body (Babbitt)

¨      M- 36066 ... Bushing , A727/A518/A618 Extension Housing

WE suggest that you change the bushing, thrust washer, bearing and reverse band if needed during your rebuild.

This kit contains everything normally replaced in a do-it-yourself overhaul of the transmission. If you are new to rebuilding automatic transmissions, you will need to soak the frictions materials for 30 minutes in transmission fluid before installing.

GM Advanced Design California celebrates 10th Anniversary

On the eve of the 2010 LA Auto Show, GM's California Advanced Design Studio opened its doors in North Hollywood, to celebrate its 10th Anniversary. Based in a former bakery, the studio occupies a relatively small space in North Hollywood/Burbank with studio warehouses and small outbuildings sharing the plot, creating an environment that – if not for the palm trees – could easily double for the artisan workshops of a firm in old Europe. Yet on the night itself, the studio took on an altogether ethereal appearance – light-filled globes floated above the buildings and grounds, casting a blue/white hue across the venue.

It's about time Smart gave us another wacky concept, and this cheeky-looking Paris show-goer should do just the trick. It's an electrically-powered two-seater coupe that'll do 80mph thanks to a Brabus-sourced 81bhp battery-powered drivetrain. The 2012 Smart Forstars concept Smart are touting the Forstars as a sports coupe concept, and it does bear a certain resemblance to the now-defunct Smart coupe, thanks to its prominent two-tone bodywork and wheel-at-each-corner stance.

Peugeot 2008 Concept

Peugeot will unveil its new 2008 Concept at next week's Paris motor show, developed by design teams in Paris, Shanghai and Sao Paolo. The automaker has confirmed that the 2008 will go into production; first in France, then China and then Brazil as a global product. It comes after Peugeot displayed its Urban Crossover concept at this year's Beijing auto show, which bears an uncanny resemblance to the 2008. The 2008 concept, which measures 4,140mm long and 1,730mm wide, is painted matte fluorescent yellow with dark chrome surrounding the now-familar floating grille and the air inlets integrated into the fender.
