Objectives behind the design of AAM Competition Resonated Test Pipes are simple; increase exhaust flow, enhance exhaust note, while minimize drone and rasp. It is not uncommon to develop drone and rasp while freeing up the exhaust flow of your Nissan/Infiniti. Although AAM Competition Resonated Test Pipes will not guarantee a complete drone/rasp free set up, we can assure that the additional resonator in the test pipes will combat odd exhaust frequencies that cause drone/rasp.

The factory catalytic converter leaves a lot of power on the table with its smaller piping diameter and extremely dense core. While being a very simple and inexpensive bolt on, upgrading to aftermarket test pipes is a no-brainer. AAM Competition 2.5” Resonated Test Pipes replace the factory catalytic converter and are designed purely for off-road performance. Each unit is hand assembled at AAM Competition's manufacturing facility in the U.S.A., using raw T-304 16 gauge stainless steel piping with T-304 stainless steel flanges.

Citroen C4 Cactus revealed in production guise ahead of Geneva Motor Show Debut

Thu, 06 Feb 2014

The Citroen C4 Cactus (pictured) revealed in production spec The Citroen C4 Cactus could probably not have been conceived by anyone other than the French, and the concept we saw at Frankfurt last year was certainly original. Now, Citroen are putting the C4 Cactus in to production and, surprisingly, not a huge amount has changed from the concept. That means the C4 Cactus – with a wheelbase the same as a C4 but with a footprint more the size of a supermini – weighs in at just 980kg, so even though its engines are small and frugal it will have acceptable performance.

Alfa Romeo 8C GTA & Alfa MiTo GTA Spied

Sun, 16 May 2010

The Alfa Romeo MiTo GTA & Alfa Romeo 8C GTA Spied Through the early part of last year we were convinced Alfa Romeo were going to launch a halo version of that cracking little car the MiTo, and bring the GTA badge out of the history box at the same time to create the Alfa MiTo GTA. Blimey, we not only managed to report details of the MiTo GTA but even had a video from Alfa of the MiTo GTA concept running around. But that all seemed to go out of the window when reports started flying round the car world last July that the Alfa MiTo GTA was dead and the hottest we’d get was the Alfa Romeo MiTo Quadrifoglio, although on both occasions we expressed the belief – probably more in hope than expectation – that Alfa would give us the MiTo GTA.
