AC R46N Green Stripe spark plugs with steel gaskets, marked "AC Spark Plug, Flint, MI" on the steel shell. It is believed that these spark plugs were take-outs from factory test engines, as they appear to have been installed (compressed gasket, wrench marks) and perhaps run for a short time. There may be light corrosion on the steel shell from 50+ years of storage, but are otherwise in useable condition. Perhaps not good enough for a concourse restoration, but will work just fine in your daily driver and priced accordingly. Note that these have four narrow green stripes, indicating that they are the real thing.

These spark plugs came from the garage of a gentleman who worked in a General Motors automobile manufacturing plant in the 1950's through 1970's, so they may be the same parts as those on the actual production line rather than service parts. You can have real FACTORY parts in your vintage Chevy pickup!

These spark plugs were used in 1969-74 Chevrolet and GMC inline 6 cyl. truck engines (250 CID). Make sure to check the specifications for your engine before buying.

The listed price is for ONE spark plug.

Porsche Cayenne Turbo S (2012) first official pictures

Fri, 12 Oct 2012

If you're a Porsche Cayenne buyer, it's unlikely you're too bothered about the political (in)correctness of your vehicle. Still, Porsche has somewhat injected a modicum of common sense into the new flagship model: the Cayenne Turbo S. Despite gains of 42bhp and 37lb ft over the already potent Cayenne Turbo, Porsche claims the Turbo S suffers no drop in fuel efficiency or inferior CO2 output.
