New MINI John Cooper Works GP: Official Deatails

The new MINI John Cooper Works GP was revealed earlier in 2012, but now we get full details of MINI’s fastest ever road car. We had a fair amount of details – and some photos – back in May when the new JCW GP was revealed at the MINI United Festival in France, but MINI were a bit light on detail. But now, with the JCW GP soon to go on sale, we have much more detail and lots of photos.

Skoda Fabia

Skoda gave us its first indication of the new Fabia's design direction at the Geneva show earlier this year. There, its new city car's lines were upscaled to fit the VisionC coupé concept, memorable as much for its nuclear green paint job as its sharpened surfaces. GM posts $7.6 billion profit for 2011

General Motors on Thursday posted a $7.6 billion profit for 2011, while recording its smallest quarterly profit of the year in the fourth quarter. Net income for the October-through-December period fell 7 percent from the year-earlier period to $472 million, as a $562 million loss in Europe--the steepest of the year there--weighed on the automaker's bottom line. North American earnings nearly doubled.
