Accel Stealth Big Block Chevy Efi Oval Port Superram on 2040-parts.com
Cape Coral, Florida, United States
Used Accel "Stealth" intake and EFI setup for oval port Big Block Chevy engines. Quite rare, AND unusual piece! Very similar to the SuperRam, this one has a large offset plenum, with tuned runner extensions inside it. Also of note is the base is very similar to a tunnel ram. Definitely a cool piece!
According to the previous owner, it was in a mid-90's 454 pickup, and ran when removed. However, since I have no method of verifying this claim, I'm selling this as an intake manifold, throttle body and injectors only, but the auction does include the Accel DFI ECU and wiring harness, along with an inline high pressure fuel pump. I make no claims that the electronics are functional. Also.. there are NO instructions with this kit. Great piece for a retrofit, using a more modern standalone system like Holley, FAST, etc. Or.. see if you can find somebody familiar with Accel DFI, download their CALMAP software and use what's in the box! As originally advertised by Accel: "BIG BLOCK CHEVROLET
“STEALTH” OVAL PORT • Specifically designed for superior low-end
and midrange torque. • Especially suited for tow vehicle,
RV, and marine applications. • Improved fuel mileage for economical
performance. • EGR equipped for emissions control capability. When the time arrived to develop our Stealth big
block Chevy fuel injection system,ACCEL engineers
solicited the intake manifold development expertise
of John Lingenfelter, NHRA champion, premier engine
builder, and designer of highly innovative
performance parts for Chevrolet engines. The result was “Stealth”, a stump-puller of a manifold
matched to ACCEL’s electronic fuel injection controls.
Especially effective off-idle to 4500 RPM,“Stealth”
increased torque by up to 90 ft.lb at 3500 RPM (see
graph to the right). Power, economy, and driveability
are dramatically improved when “Stealth” is installed
on tow vehicles, recreational vehicles (RV’s)
and boats.
The only compatible distributors that will fit this
system is the GM Remote Mount Coil Computer
Control HEI Distributor or ACCEL BilleTech part no.
60109 and 60110. UPDATE - Apparently, the CALMAP interface is in the box of electronic parts.. whether or not that's all you need, I'm not quite sure. You can contact Holley Performance's tech line as they now own Accel, and offer some product support (how much is anybody's guess). Also - I have a good used GM small cap computer controlled HEI distributor with new MSD cap and rotor, and will include it with purchase of this system Sold as is, with no warranty, expressed or implied. Audi A6 Hybrid will arrive in mid 2012
Sun, 24 Jul 2011Audi A6 Hybrid - arrives in the UK & Europe mid 2012 Audi released all the bumph on the 2011 A6 at the end of 2010, and we’d expected that they would deliver up the Audi A6 Hybrid by the end of this year at the latest. After all, car makers need to have an eco-halo car in each of their model ranges to be squeaky-green (or so they seem to think), and with all the hybrid gubbins for the A6 being nicked from the Q5 hybrid we thought it would a racing certainty that Audi would bring it to market this year. But it’s not happening.
