Nissan has unveiled initial details of its new Note at a world premiere held at the Osanbashi venue in Yokohama. The B-segment MPV's exterior features a number of familiar Nissan design characteristics, including the combined grille/lamp DRG and 'squash line' side eature line, first seen on Pivo 3 concept. The project was led by product chief designer, Atsushi Maeda.

Skoda has revealed prices and specifications for the new Octavia which will cost from £14,990 rising to £23,240. The new Skoda Octavia – Skoda’s new Octavia built on the new VW Golf platform – was revealed last month and goes on sale in March, so Skoda have had their abacus out to work out how much they want for a piece of new Octavia action. Baby born after 100mph police chase

A GROUP OF POLICE OFFICERS who pulled over a speeding car ended up facing a newborn baby instead of a criminal as a heroic grandfather delivered his granddaughter at the side of the road. Lola Mia Rose was born just as seven officers in four unmarked cars, who had chased her grandfather Colin Ellmore at speeds of 100pmh along the M275 in Portsmouth, surrounded the car. Her mother Tiffany, who has three other children, described the experience as "quite scary" and said she was "very proud" of her dad for delivering baby Lola.
