Rinspeed iChange concept (2009): first pics and video

Mon, 16 Feb 2009

By Alex Michaelides First Official Pictures 16 February 2009 13:00 The boffins at Swiss automotive madhouse Rinspeed – the people behind the Lotus Elise-based sQuba submarine – have announced their latest exercise in Geneva motor show lunacy: the iChange, a concept car that changes shape to accommodate different numbers of passengers. Bentley is giving a glimpse of its future this morning with a teaser shot of the Arnage successor due out in 2011. Look for a public debut this summer, possibly in concept form at the Pebble Beach concours, where the British luxury maker is one of the featured companies as it marks its 90th anniversary. Details are scarce, though the teaser shows a lengthy hood, a prominent grille and big fenders--hallmarks of the Bentley line.

This new car almost certainly previews a rival to the Nissan Juke scheduled for release in 2015, and could replace Suzuki’s ageing current generation Grand Vitara SUV. If it looks like this, Nissan could well have a fight on its hands.
