Car Insurance ‘Black Box’ a good idea? We find out.
Sun, 30 Dec 2012We’ve been testing a new ‘Telematics’ App from Confused.com which mimics the ‘Black Box’ technology insurers are offering in an attempt to make car insurance cheaper. The inexorable rise and rise of car insurance premiums is a fact of life, and will continue until government gets a handle on ambulance-chasing lawyers and the UK’s idiotic whiplash claims industry. Top Gear Tonight: Burma Road Trip part 2
Sun, 16 Mar 2014Top Gear continues its Road Trip across Burma tonight In best Top Gear tradition, series 21 ended up just five episodes long, with last weeks episode being the first part of the Top Gear Christmas Special road trip through Burma. Tonight’s Top Gear – which you can think of as episode 7 of series 21 – is part two of the much delayed 2013 Christmas Special with the boys picking up where they left off last week, heading through Burma on the way to Thailand and the River Kwai. Having got to grips with their less than cutting edge lorries and suffered the Burmese equivalent of truckers’ overnight truck stops, Clarkson, May and Hammond are now heading further in to uncharted territory – certainly for Western Media – as they head towards Thailand and the River Kwai.
Mercedes AMG GT & GT S OFFICIALLY revealed
Tue, 09 Sep 2014The Mercedes AMG GT officially revealed It seems to have taken forever for the Mercedes AMG Gt to arrive, and now it has we get not one but two variations- the AMG GT and AMG GT S. Effectively replacing the SLS AMG at the top of Mercedes sporting line-up, the AMG GT isn’t as ‘super’ a Supercar – certainly not in terms of prices – as the old SLS AMG. In fact, although Mercedes are yet to confirm prices, we’re expecting the AMG GT to start at under £100,000 (just) and the AMG GT S to be £10k or so more.
