Karim Habib to Head Exterior Design at BMW

Tue, 14 Dec 2010

It was only a matter of time before we expected a talented designer to fill the position vacated by Anders Warming when he was promoted to the role of Design Director at Mini. News of that new appointment was revealed today and, as of March 2011, Karim Habib will become the new Head of Exteriors at BMW Design. No stranger to BMW Design, Habib comes back to the Munich-based carmaker after a two year absence, during which time he worked for rival German carmaker Mercedes-Benz.

But Mitsubishi are intent on cashing-in on the Outlander PHEV’s success, and earlier this month we got a tease for an Outlander PHEV S which has now been revealed ahead of a debut at the Paris Motor Show next month.

Bentley brings even faster Continental V8 S to Detroit

Mon, 13 Jan 2014

More horsepower is always welcome, and the handsome new grand tourer delivers precisely 21 more. While Bentley has been concentrating on W12-powered Speed models -- even suggesting that it might be an entertaining drive on a racetrack -- the V8 range has been bolstered by its own modest performance enhancements: 21 more horsepower and 15 more lb-ft of torque bring the 4.0-liter engine's figures up to 521 and 502, respectively.
