Hyundai Genesis sedan loses an engine option, gains more tech for 2013

Hyundai is dropping the 4.6-liter V8 in the Genesis sedan lineup for 2013. The 5.0-liter V8 will continue in the R-Spec model, while the rest will get Hyundai's 3.8-liter V6. Hyundai has also enhanced the optional eight-inch Driver Information System, which is now more intuitive, with a rotating joystick, better voice recognition and improved navigation-screen layouts.

Nissan Super-Juke with 480hp planned

The 480hp Nissan Super Juke Only last week we had news that the appealing Nissan Juke has had a few tweaks to make it more economical; more suited to its urban environment. But now comes new from the other end of the economy spectrum with a report that Nissan Europe is planning a monster ‘Super’ Juke complete with the turbo V6 from the Nissan GT-R. Longest-serving AA patrol retires after 1.4 million miles

THE AA's longest-serving patrolman is retiring after 1.4 million miles and almost 50 years on the road. Jim Haggart joined the AA in Glasgow in August 1966 as a 16-year-old cadet after spotting the opportunity in a newspaper advert. The 64-year-old has helped an estimated 87,000 motorists with car trouble - between 1,500 and 2,000 a year - around the west of Scotland, rescuing animals, young children and even babies that have been accidentally locked in vehicles.
