Kia isn't giving much away about its Frankfurt-bound concept car, indeed it hasn't even released its name yet, referring to it as the 'four-door sports sedan concept.' The press release talks of it as 'signalling a distinctive new design direction' for the Korean brand, yet the now-familiar 'tiger-nose' grille and Optima-esque A-pillar/cant rail/C-pillar highlight are very much in evidence. "No matter from which perspective you look at it - this concept car is roaring with energy and ready for take-off," says Peter Schreyer, Kia Motors Chief Design Officer."I believe the car is a strong statement from Kia: we are ready to fast forward to an all new chapter." The third-generation 2014 BMW X5 has arrived, and its big news is an optional rear-wheel-drive variant. Those models will have a 300-hp turbocharged 3.0-liter in-line six-cylinder gasoline engine in the U.S. We're expecting a Frankfurt motor show debut in September.

Honda recalls Accord Crosstour for airbag fix

Honda is recalling more than 3,300 copies of its 2010 Accord Crosstour to fix the front passenger airbag. Honda said the Accord Crosstour's passenger airbag had not been tested with an unbelted 6-year-old child-size test dummy, which is required by federal law. Honda said it will inspect and possibly replace the passenger airbag in 3,336 Accord Crosstours.
