New in opened box 24267088 (old part number 24253594) 6T70/6T75 auto trans seal kit. This is the full service overhaul kit; however it is missing the case half gasket and filter. The valve body plate in this transmission uses two designs; I have included a picture of the one included in this kit. I am also including a full set of wave plates and frictions! Honda Civic Tourer shown ahead of Frankfurt motor show reveal
Mon, 12 Aug 2013Honda has shown its new Civic Tourer just ahead of its reveal at the Frankfurt motor show in September. Designed by Honda's European design studios, the Civic Tourer is expected to go on sale in Europe in early 2014. The Civic Tourer will be available with either the Earth Dreams 1.6 i-DTEC diesel engine or the 1.8 i-VTEC gas engine when arrives, along with a manual or automatic transmission.
60mph M1 motorway speed limit proposed
Mon, 06 Jan 2014The government has announced a proposal to lower the motorway speed limit from 70mph to 60mph over a 32-mile stretch of the M1. The plan, which has just been put out to consultation, would lower the speed limit to 60mph between junction 28, near Matlock in Derbyshire, to junction 35a, north of Rotherham – in a bid to improve air quality by reducing vehicle emissions. But nothing rams home the abilities of a car, even a luxury SUV, like a long-term challenge; the novelty wears off and what is left is the inherent abilities to judge. And it seems Land Rover has managed to demonstrate just how able the new Range Rover is with the sort of towing job few Range Rover owners will ever undertake.
