While, in theory, there appears to have been a glut of new concept and production cars to choose from in Frankfurt, in reality there were less than a handful of marked standout designs. But the sun didn’t shine on McLaren in qualifying and they ended up 4th and 14th on the grid. But the big story was Webbers’s anger at losing his new nose to team mate Vettel in a bit of rather daft team favouritism.
Bugatti won't build new car until Veyron is sold out
Fri, 14 Feb 2014Bugatti executives told Bloomberg on Wednesday that the brand won't move forward with a new automobile until all of the remaining Veyrons have sold out. The French automaker built 300 original Bugatti coupes, followed by 150 various variants. The coupes sold out in 2011, but 40 convertibles are still for sale.
