Press days for the 2014 Detroit auto show wrapped up on Tuesday, and the sum total was more big reveals than we can shake a stick shift at. Production cars included the Ford F-150, Corvette Z06, BMW M3 and M4, Subaru WRX STI and the Porsche 911 Targa, while on the concept front we saw the Toyota FT-1, Nissan Sport Sedan and Kia GT4 Stinger just to name a few. The Nissan Leaf revealed at Tokyo Not surprisingly, Carlos Ghosn – Nissan’s boss – has revealed that Nissan are working on a range of electric cars to be released in the next few years. Considering Nissan partners with Renault, and Renault announced something similar at Frankfurt, it’s not a huge shock toi the system that yet another car maker is going to churn out a range of EVs. First up is the Leaf, with Nissan aiming to launch an electric version of their NV200 van later in 2010.

Land Rover reveals Range Rover Hybrid at the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show

Land Rover has launched the world's first posh diesel hybrid at the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show. The Range Rover Hybrid promises V8 diesel performance but with 25% lower CO2 emissions and economy of more than 44mpg. The new Range Rover Hybrid range actually goes on sale today, during the first press day of the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show, with Land Rover delivering the first models in early 2014.
