McLaren slows MP4-12C production for fixes
Wed, 05 Oct 2011British supercar maker McLaren has slowed production of the MP4-12C because of quality issues. The company says the problems are not safety- or performance-related. "There are no safety concerns for the delay," Tony Joseph, director of McLaren North America, told Autoweek.
CAR journalist wins top award

He scooped the prestigious gong at the annual Guild of Motoring Writers awards ceremony at the RAC Club in London for his magazine scoop on the McLaren P11 (the cover story of CAR October 2007). Dodge to stop Viper production next July, new car set for 2012
Wed, 04 Nov 2009The future of the Dodge Viper came into focus on Wednesday during Chrysler's strategy briefing for media and analysts. Ralph Gilles, recently named chief of the Dodge car brand, said that production of the current Viper production will cease at the end of next July. The final 500 cars have been earmarked to be special vehicles, Gilles said.
